Brian's list

This will require several posts. I don't have a complete list yet, but enough to get started.
*A set of really nice headphones for my iPod. I want the kind that fit snugly over the ENTIRE ear. ANR would be nice too, but doesn't have to be.
*Gift card to The Buckle
*Blu-ray movies (this list will be updated more than once)
-Stargate (the movie released in '94 starring James Spader and Kurt Russell)
-The entire Jaws collection, IF it gets released on Blu-ray
-The Star Wars sexology, I suppose
-The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou
-I Love You, Man....more to come. Note that any movie I request in Blu-ray can also be perchassed in 3D Blu-ray if it's available...
*The Complete Far Side.... two book set of pretty much all Far Sides ever drawn. I wouldn't be sad if you got it off craigslist.
*UPDATED 10/16: More blu-rays.... (if available on BR) The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, I Love You, Man

UPDATE 11/13:
PS3 games: Battlefield 3
Call of Duty MW3

"My Grown-Up Christmas List" by Wesley Smith

Clothes:
Long-sleeved button down shirts (solid colors, preferably). Sizes: 3X to Double Fudge Mocha.
Sweater vests (yes, really)

Electronics:
Back to the Future Blu-Ray collection
iPad accessories or speakers

Books*
Books on writing (any genre or discipline)
Any Omnibus from IDW Publications (other than Buffy the Vampire Slayer) or Classic GI Joe Collections
New Teen Titans: Games (you probably won’t be able to find this used)
Other comic book collection safe bets: Superman (Man of Steel vol 4 and up), Captain America & Fantastic Four. I'll update later with the items I already have, but generally, if it's in hardback, I don't have it.

Games & Gadgets:
Bananagrams word game
Pirates of the Carribean: Master of the Seas game
Remote Control Helicopter
Pretty much anything from Brookstone

*Like Carrie, I’m completely fine with used books most of the time, mostly because the more stuff you can buy under the spending limit means the more stuff for me. There is one website I generally go to for deals on bargain books, Abebooks.com, because unlike Amazon or eBay, this is their primary business. Highly recommended.

Tessie's Xmas list

#1 Storage ottoman. I really need the storage, and something else to sit on would be great. As big as possible. I was watching Craigslist and Ebay for this for quite a while, but didn't find anything cheap enough for me. Colors that would be good are browns, golds, greens, dark reds. If you happen to find a set of a chair and storage ottoman, so it looks like one giant comfy chair, that would be good too.

1. Coffeemaker - 12 cups, one that will not continue pouring from the spout if you remove the pot, and one that will automatically turn off after a period of time.

2. Someone to make my apartment look like I didn't just move in.

3. My AmeriCorps quilt - I can tell you right now it will be about $150 to get it quilted, so any money towards that would be awesome. Or if you know how to quilt, I'll give you the quilt top and you could do it! And teach me how, too!

4. Warmer clothes in sizes that fit me - shirts are now small or medium, pants around size 8, but could be 6 or 10 depending upon brand.

5. A copy of "The Great Divorce" by CS Lewis. I prefer old and used.

6. A nifty business card holder/case. Actually, two. One to hold my own cards, and one for the ones I collect from other people.

7. A nice battery-powered screwdriver/drill. Heavy duty, not the little household ones.

8. A cute entryway table, either to go next to the front door or under the mirror in the entryway. One with a drawer or drawers would be good. (See photo) The space under the mirror is 38" wide and 36" high.

9. An entryway mat to put next to the front door.

PS if anyone else needs my address again, it's 3725 G Busbee Pky NW Apt 1019 Kennesaw, GA 30144.
