Tessie's Xmas list 2012
My list is almost the same as last year!
#1 A nice, professional, fitted pantsuit. I really need this, as I'll likely be going on one of the Business study abroad programs, and everyone is required to dress very professionally because they have a lot of business meetings with executives.
#2 Warmer clothes in sizes that fit me, especially nice tops - shirts are now small or medium, pants around size 8, but could be 6 or 10 depending upon brand.
#3 Oversized/stuffed chair and matching ottoman. I like the ones you sink into and hard to get out of, but are comfy. The ottoman is such that it looks like the chair itself has just been extended out a ways. Good colors are browns, greens, golds, dark reds.
#4 Storage ottoman. I really need the storage, and something else to sit on would be great. As big as possible. I was watching Craigslist and Ebay for this for quite a while, but didn't find anything cheap enough for me. Colors that would be good are browns, golds, greens, dark reds. If you happen to find a set of a chair and storage ottoman, so it looks like one giant comfy chair, that would be good too.
#5 My AmeriCorps quilt - I can tell you right now it will be about $150 to get it quilted, so any money towards that would be awesome. Or if you know how to quilt, I'll give you the quilt top and you could do it! And teach me how, too!
#6 A good vacuum
#7 A cute entryway table, either to go next to the front door or
under the mirror in the entryway. One with a drawer or drawers would be good. (See photo) The space under the mirror is 38" wide and 36" high.
#8 An entryway mat to put next to the front door.
#9 New bed pillows, extra firm. Mine are probably 20 years old and I shudder to think what some of the stains on them are.
PS if anyone else needs my address again, it's 3725 G Busbee Pky NW Apt 1019 Kennesaw, GA 30144.

New Teen Titans: Games (you probably won’t be able to find this used)
Other comic book collection safe bets: Superman (Man of Steel vol 4 and up), Captain America & Fantastic Four. I'll update later with the items I already have, but generally, if it's in hardback, I don't have it.
Games & Gadgets:
Bananagrams word game
Pirates of the Carribean: Master of the Seas game
Remote Control Helicopter
Pretty much anything from Brookstone
*Like Carrie, I’m completely fine with used books most of the time, mostly because the more stuff you can buy under the spending limit means the more stuff for me. There is one website I generally go to for deals on bargain books, Abebooks.com, because unlike Amazon or eBay, this is their primary business. Highly recommended.

1. Coffeemaker - 12 cups, one that will not continue pouring from the spout if you remove the pot, and one that will automatically turn off after a period of time.
2. Someone to make my apartment look like I didn't just move in.
3. My AmeriCorps quilt - I can tell you right now it will be about $150 to get it quilted, so any money towards that would be awesome. Or if you know how to quilt, I'll give you the quilt top and you could do it! And teach me how, too!

5. A copy of "The Great Divorce" by CS Lewis. I prefer old and used.
6. A nifty business card holder/case. Actually, two. One to hold my own cards, and one for the ones I collect from other people.
7. A nice battery-powered screwdriver/drill. Heavy duty, not the little household ones.
8. A cute entryway table, either to go next to the front door or
under the mirror in the entryway. One with a drawer or drawers would be good. (See photo) The space under the mirror is 38" wide and 36" high.
9. An entryway mat to put next to the front door.
PS if anyone else needs my address again, it's 3725 G Busbee Pky NW Apt 1019 Kennesaw, GA 30144.

- German bearded re-blooming irises (Blue, white, purple, and/or yellow) (SERIOUSLY people. I have had this on my list for, what, 10 years now?)
- French-English bible - I NOW KNOW WHERE TO FIND THEM!!! http://www.biblescanada.com/catalog/products/4370.htm
There are a number of book series that I’m collecting that I need additional books for. I LOVE USED BOOKS. In fact, I like them better than new ‘cause then they’re all comfy and broken in. Soft cover, hard cover – I don’t care. So here are the book collections I’m looking to fill in.
- Vicky Bliss books by Elizabeth Peters. I have the first three and the 5th and 6th; I still need the 4th one: Trojan Gold
- Amelia Peabody books by Elizabeth Peters. There are about 6 jillion of them. Here are the ones I HAVE; I would like to have any that is NOT on this list: The Crocodile on the Sandbank; The Mummy Case; Lord of the Silent; The Last Camel Died at Noon; The Golden One; The Falcon at the Portal; The Ape Who Guards the Balance. Here is a list of the series: http://www.ameliapeabody.com/bookshelf.htm
- Jasper Fforde books - any of the Thursday Next series EXCEPT "First Among Sequels" (there are 5 books that I DON'T have in this series - listed here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jasper_Fforde). Another book by this author that's from a new series that I'd like to have is called _Shades of Grey_.
- Robert Jordan Wheel of Time books. I have books 1-6, 8, 11 and a novella called “New Spring”; I need books 7, 9, 10, 12, 13, and 14. (But book 14 hasn’t been published yet so it’ll probably be pretty hard to find. ☺) See all titles here: http://www.dragonmount.com/Books/index.php
- The Princess Diaries Volume VI and a Half: The Princess Present. (Unless somebody borrowed it from me. I could have sworn I had this one.)

Ellie's Christmas list
Ellie's list (as edited by her mother):
1. Jewelry (Ellie DOES have pierced ears, and recently lost her watch)
2. (stricken from the record)
3. Gift cards (Aeropostale, Hot Spot, Justice, Kohl's)

She has about a 5-size range and it is extremely difficult to find anything that fits her - we have to try on 20 pairs of pants to find one that fits. She does enjoy getting clothes and gift cards for clothes. In tops she can wear a kids' large, or adult small or medium.

9. Hair clips that are adult style
